The Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship is here!!!

YOU can help support Pilot Dogs by attending the tournament and redeeming our Charity ticket at the gate! Admission is free to the public. 

With every ticket redeemed, a $10 donation will be made to Pilot Dogs, which will go towards our New Kennel Fund!

Each ornament was handmade by Woodbury Pewter in Woodbury, Connecticut. This will be the first in a series of seven ornaments that will feature each of our breeds.

NEW! Pilot Dogs Orientation & Mobility Program

Pilot Dogs, Inc. is now offering a two week training course in Orientation and Mobility for individuals who have had no O&M training, as well as those needing a refresher. The course is taught by longtime Pilot Dogs staff member Steve Hoyt and will include: -Review of human guide technique -Improving your white cane technique -Self-protective techniques: upper body/lower body -Understanding of parallel & perpendicular traffic -Residential area: street crossings at stop sign controlled intersections -Simple traffic light controlled intersections -Training on cardinal directions: North, South, East & West -Training on quarter turns (90 degree turns) -Training on public transportation (city bus) -Training on complex light intersections (turning arrows) -Downtown area: Training of light controlled intersections -Training in problem solving areas (veering, disorientation) -Rural travel without sidewalks (if requested) -In stores: Soliciting information (if requested) -Training in direction, path and destination -Traveling independently on a given route Please contact Steve Hoyt at or 614-221-6367 for more information.
